Family Facelinidae

Animal slender, rhinophores with broadly spaced rings, cerata narrow, clustered in about 7 or 8 groups, slightly constricted at tips. Anterior end of foot narrow. Body milky-white with white flecks, orange markings on head, cerata variable, light-brown to black. Photo by Ángel Valdés.

Size to 10 Oral tentacles very long, more than half body length. Rhinophores with irregular arrangement of rings on distal half. Cerata elongate, pointed at distal extremitity. Body color variable, faint light-blue to whitish to transparent with irregular orange markings, cerata darker than body color, with orange rings and bluish extremities.
