Size to 6 Animal covered with papillae of variable sizes arranged in two main groups, dorso-lateral and median-dorsal papillae. Three bipinnate gills present. Sides of the head forming a ridge sometimes marked with projections. Ridge may be prolonged along sides of body as series of papillae. Color green or gray with green, brownish, and yellowish flecks. Size to 20 Body elongate, background color brownish-gray, with darker brown specks. Appendages with bands of three distinct colors, top dark-blue, middle yolk-yellow, and bottom light-blue. Rhinophores lamellate. Found living on bryozoans of the genus Bugula. The individual in the main image was found by Rebecca Mensch on Sanibel in 2016; the one in the supplementary photo was found by Amy Tripp off Marco Island in February 2020. All images by José H.
