Turbonilla viridaria

Shell size to 10 mm; shell small, elongate, slender, protoconch axis forming right angle with teleoconch. Teleoconch whorls 10-12, interspaces wider than ribs, sculpture of about 20 axial ribs. Spiral cordlets present on interspaces. Color white. Similar to Turbonilla cf. conradi, differs by smaller size, more delicate sculpture but with relatively stronger spiral cordlets, and pure-white color

Turbonilla virga

Shell size to 7 mm; shell small, elongate, slender, protoconch axis forming right angle with teleoconch. Teleoconch whorls 10, interspaces wider than ribs, sculpture of about 20 axial ribs and 6-8 spiral cords. Spiral lines present on interspaces. Color white.

Turbonilla hemphilli

Shell size to 9 mm; shell slender, elongate, with 12-14 slightly convex whorls. Suture well impressed. Sculpture of about 20 axial ribs and fine spiral striations. Color buff to pale-brown, frequently with darker-brown band anterior to suture.

Turbonilla dalli

Dall Turbonilla

Shell size to 9 mm; shell slender, thin, glassy, similar to T. interrupta, but with convex whorls. Sculpture of about 18 curved axial ribs. Axial ribs abruptly interrupted at base. Spiral striations absent. Color translucent white.

Turbonilla conradi

Shell size to 10 mm; shell small, elongate, slender, sometimes slightly curved, protoconch axis forming right angle with teleoconch. Teleoconch whorls about 12, sculpture of 18 to 24 strong axial ribs. Interspaces wider than ribs. Microscopic incised spiral lines are present on the interspaces, but do not overlap onto the ribs. Color waxy-white to light brownish-white.

Sayella fusca

Shell size to 5 mm; shell small, elongate-conical, surface smooth except for microscopic spiral lines. Sutures well-defined, abapical edge of preceding whorl seen by transparency, giving appearance of double suture. Color translucent amber-brown.

Peristichia toreta

Tower Pyram

Shell size to 11 mm; shell slender, elongate. Sculpture of three nodulose spiral cords and single smooth, narrow spiral thread just above suture. Base with single broad nodulose spiral cord. Outer lip internally with 3-4 denticles. Posterior canal well-defined. Color white. This species is more slender, has a relatively smaller aperture, and more delicate and regular sculpture than the preceding species, Peristichia agria.

Peristichia agria

Netted Pyram

Shell size to 7 mm; shell turreted. Sculpture of three nodulose spiral cords (four on last whorl) crossed by about 20 axial ("vertical") ribs, which impart a reticulated, or net-like pattern to the shell surface. Base with single broad nodulose spiral cord. Outer lip with four bends that reflect presence of spiral cords. Color waxy-white.

Longchaeus suturalis

Crenulated Pyram

Shell size to 12 mm; shell elongate, conical. Whorls with straight sides. Shell smooth. Suture excavated. Columella with two strong folds. Color-dull brown with faint axial blotches of white.

Houbricka incisa

Shell size to 8 mm; shell sculptured with about 20 longitudinal ribs per whorl. Incised spiral lines present between ribs. Color translucent-white.
