Family Vitrinellidae

Shell size to 12 mm; shell discoidal, depressed. Sculpture of five to six smooth, major spiral cords with interspaces filled with finer spiral lines. Periphery bordered by two major cords. Umbilicus large, deep. Color white to light-tan. Found offshore, on sandy bottoms.
