Slandered Tellin

Shell size to 10 mm; shell thin, elongate, translucent. Sculpture of very fine growth lines. Internally with characteristic oblique lines and two radial thickenings at posterior end. Color translucent-white, sometimes suffused with pink or orangish-red, juveniles almost transparent. A few shells in the Shell Museum collection such as the one in the photos are juveniles.
