Tongue Auger

Shell size to 28 mm; shell slender, with small body whorl, shell width ¼ length. Sculpture of 25-30 curved axial ribs crossed by 5-6 spiral, strong incised lines. Aperture lozenge-shaped. Parietal shield smooth. Anterior canal narrow, poorly developed. Irregularly colored mauve to light-orange.
