Pleurobranchaea inconspicua

(Bergh, 1897)

Inconspicuous Side-gill Slug

A sea slug up to 60 mm in size. Body color greenish brown with white spots. Rhinophores well-developed. Front part of the foot (veil) with small projections (papillae). Gills partially covered by the mantle, mantle forming a small siphon posteriorly (arrow in one of the supplementary photos). A blackish spur is present on top of the posterior part of the foot.
